I'd be very thorough to check for any axle damage like a bent flange or something like that. You could possible feel some thumping after pressing the brake pedal or an irregular pattern on the brake disk. It just looks like wheel damage but there could be more there not detected yet.

Hello friends... today i have changed steering rack on my h3.. and steering shaft. it consist from two parts: on attachet to rack and second goes to cabin.. i tried to replace cross on this half (upper). used 15x40 cross. but it is not fit ... does anybody know what type of cross used on upper part of steering shaft ? on bottom part i use 16x40 - it fits perfectly...

I’m glad you brought this up. I’m just now starting to get a clicking sound from my steering shaft. It’s not CV axle noise, it’s the steering shaft. Has anyone else experienced this and if so what fixed it?

there are three reasons of clicking sounds from steering shaft.
1. Broken upper joint cross
2. Broken bottom joint cross
3. Worn splines on bottom steering shaft half.

2 can be repaired by pressing out broken cross and use new one.
1. can be also repaired but 15x40 cross not fit. what size of joint cross can we use ?

I took mine to a shop that cleans and tests them, cost me about $180 for all 8 injectors. It really is the best option, nothing else is going to come close to getting them properly clean. It's also far cheaper than new injectors.

Sadly i have no such kind of shop.. i live on Kamchatka, most northen part of Russia. only Japan and Russian cars here. when guys in shop see Hummer they say "we can not handle with this strange car" or says a price that not suitable for me.. usualy it 3 or 5 time higher than price for other car.. because so i do everything in this car by myself...

If any of them do out of vehicle injector cleaning then just pull the injectors and take them in, injectors are injectors. If they need the stock flow rate I'm sure someone here can dig that up. Otherwise you'll need to rig up a cleaning station yourself. Not the easiest thing to do, but not impossible. You'll want to replace the filters inside each injector as well.

Just installed the black ignition switch piece today to fix the infamous Passlock annoyance. So far, so good. Only thing that's got me concerned is I didn't have to do a passlock relearn due to the fact it just cranked right up with no issue. I can't find any similar instances so far. Hopefully it'll be fine though.

Winch Test I took my grand son's trail riding on there motor cycles today. We come over the hill and there is a swamped Jeep stuck in a mud hole. Gigel gigel there's a women and her sun sitting in the heep with water above there ankles and the husband went for help. So we find him and i bring out my H3 out to where he is stuck. And rather then drag him out with the H3 we decided to use the winch slower and more time to draw a crowd. Well that was fun his wheels were full of stinky muck and had water coming out every orifice. Had a good day with the boy's

Have the same thing **** weld when i bought it said one piece not the case sent him a message no reply i sat for 4 hours waiting to have someone come out to weld $ 400 later back one the road would be nice to have them replaced with what i should have gotten the first time
