Got a break in the weather finally so gave it a bath, cleaned the inside, ran the wiring for rock lights, took some measurements for routing a front and rear air line from the compressor, and changed the oil. Ran out of time for the air springs but overall a productive day.

Ordered front hubs, battery terminals, and vent valve solenoid w/adapter harness. Next will be passenger side CV axle and axle seal. I have a bit of work ahead of me once everything arrives.

I missed the Mint 400 yesterday while working o the truck for Moab prep... I thought I could bang out an extended shackle install on the truck before all the action started... 4 bolts how long could that take?!

Well of course the last bolt was seized in the bushing sleeve and I had to hammer the bushing apart and cut the bolt out of the old sleeve (luckily I am a Hummer parts squirrel and had one on the shelf ready to go in)

Where did you buy those new bushings from? I am going to be putting in new shackles soon and I probably need new bushings since the truck is at 250k lol.

Those I believe are Siberian bushings. You can buy them from Amazon or Siberian bushings website.

This H3 was cut down into a truck, probably rolled over before deciding to go this direction.
I like what he’s done to the rear.

Was very dark, tried my best to bump up the shadows on the iphone camera sensor.

My best guess is that he didnt have insurance and that was the best way to save the truck!
Seen several people with rolled over vehicles over here do the same, cheaper to cut and convert than to fix!

Cool concept, I'd love to have a small bed in my h3 but it would be easier and much cheaper to buy a h3t

2 door T with a short bed would be a blast. Trim off a good chunk of weight, with the 5.3 in it and it would really scoot.

Not perfect but there is some great ideas here. Look at those fender flares! I have wanting to do something like that for the longest time now! Two things it needs though is wheel wells to make it look clean and re-route the air intake
