I think going high speed with only 4-5in of uptravel is doable. My brother has 5in of uptravel. I measured this morning. Along with that you can see where the shock stops due to the point where the mud/dirt stops on the shaft. At that point it shows hes only using 4in of uptravel and it handles great.

Possibly a softer spring will help at speed. I hope the JK springs do the trick.

Picking up DOM tubing today, ordering steering box today all that would be left is track bar and hoses and adapter fittings for the PS pump to the box.

Plan is to start next Thursday August 7th!!!

I had squeakys final IFS run, it was interesting. My buddy had a BBQ at his house out in palmdale on friday night and afterwords we did a night run to Last Chance Canyon. Got home at 6:15am and had work at 10. Was up for almost 40 hours on 2 hours of sleep with no energy drinks, coffee, etc. Its all bad for you! lol I was tired.

There is an obstacle 10 feet from the v notch that the so cal crew never even noticed. No one thought I would make it and walked it! Quicker then most of em. 2 seconds and done. I went into the v notch and punctured my 5th goodyear duratrac...damn pieces of ****. I backed out...

I may make one last run. we shall see...I will keep you all posted.

There is a loop to LCC. I don't remember seeing another obstacle by the V notch other than the bi-pass.

So far no good pics, I will text some others and see what I can get.

Found something....Go to 2:48 seconds and pause it. Here is the point where you hang left and go through the notch or go right through the bypass. Now if the H3T was to back up and go straight to the wall behind where he is there is a big rock pile and you wedge yourself between the pile and wall. You do a multi point turn (H3 took less due to amazing turning radius) slide your rock rails and pivot yourself.

The fun begins tomorrow night. Pulling the diff torsion bars etc. Get as much crap done then Thursday is plasma cutting day Friday is more cutting...working the weekend so less will be done then. Goal is to have it driving by the 25th when school starts. Kind of have no choice with it being a DD and having work and school. I'll go sleepless if that's what it takes.

After I am done I will see what's left over. So far rancho kit is sold cast iron diff is sold my new locker that I had warrantied is sold 2 halfshsfts and2 tie rods are sold. Steering rack and upgraded steering rack kit is sold. All I will have left is spare front end parts
