That's a really really good deal! I just scan CL as much as possible but deals are hard to find. When I first got the Hummer I upgraded to used BFG A/Ts. Got 8 315s at 30% tread for $200 but those tires you got looks soooooo nice

Mud grapplers look like they were just built for Hummers.. We have two Facebook resale sights for our surrounding areas.. 1000 something people.. There are deals and trades on stuff all the time.. One is called caveman resale and the other is hunters resale.. U could start one for ur area!!!

I just got my 13" LED light bar in and now waiting on my emergency lights.. Decided so go buy some plasti dip and this is what happens...
Pulled the chrome grille and center section off. Allowed me to paint and install the light bar without pulling the entire bumper.

I have a question about your hood handles. In the first pic of them installed, it looks like there are some gaps between the handles and the hood louver. In later pics it looks like there is no gap. Did you do any modifications to the handles to get them flush with the louver?

I have a set of H2 handles I am going to put on my truck, just want to do it right the first time. :corn:

Yea, the angle was off because they are H2 handles... I used a grinder to get them as close as possible and then when I tightened them Down the plastic molded around it for a smooth flush look..

Awesome mods!! Had to laugh when I was looking back through your progression and saw those shots from South of the Border. Every time I've rolled through there (whilst obtaining massive amounts of fireworks) I never saw any Hummers. Now that spring has sprung time to get back to moddin'.

Just an update... I got the final approval from the wife to get my lift in December.. Well I found one about 6 hours away for a heck of a deal.. So I called the back to get my full loan.. If the deal goes through I will have enough left over to start my SOA!! If not I will set the money aside and wait until December.
6 month MOD project!! In order
1. Rancho lift
2. Custom rock rails w/ detach. steps
3. SOA
4. Daystar 1" body lift
5. 37" Mud Graps

Ok guys, I'm having second thoughts..

As you can see when I get my lift on I will barely be able to squeeze into the garage if I take off my strap hooks.. I might not be able to fit at all.. I'm having second thoughts on the added 1" body lift and 37s.. Do y'all think its worth the body lift and 37s or should I just concentrate on the spring over and drop the 37s and body lift idea..

why do you want the body lift and 37's? it will look great with the lift and the 35's and be very capable

Go big or go home lmao JK..

06 H3 I knew that u would say that lol..

To be honest I could care less about having the 37s! It's basically a competition between my to other buddies about who can have the baddest truck.. They think bigger is better which we all know is not true!! But my pride gets in the way lol.. My thought process was 37s would fit but would look like they were stuffed in so that 1" would just give a lil more room... I personally think the 37s will take away from the over all essence of the truck.. Plus I would save about 500.00 in spacers and tires which will prolly pay for half of the SOA

Where are you scoring a lift? Deals on the Rancho are few and far between.

Personally, I like the idea of 37s...but as some have mentioned, 35s will get the job done. I'm still doing my best to beat up my 33s so I can step up, but they just won't die!!

Do you have an alpha? If so then 37s can atleast be tolerated but you gotta be easy on the skinny pedal when offroading and the soa rancho with 35s are awesome and I found that sometimes my biggest hangup is tire size, the boulders are bigger then the tires can handle. I must say though that even with 35s the setup kickass.

Btw, the SOA is less then 500 lol its about 300 in metal fab parts. then eventually add a driveshaft thats longer.

U just keep making me happier and happier.. I agree.. I am goin to postpone 37s until i do some major mods.. I might not put them on at all.. I will go a set of 35s first and see how i like them.. Now my issue is finding someone cable of assisting me in doin the SOA... I don't have the equipment and I have called every "off road fab shop" from here to Dallas and none can do it.. They all say add a leaf and I said noooooo SOA lol... So if anyone here in the Arklatex who has the capabilities I will pay and bring the beer...
