Very cool, working on a rear bumper myself then going to either order sliders or make my own... I like your idea, if the steel is sealed up tight you could turn each slider into giant air tanks as well!!

Welp took my Q from some of the other members and upgraded my interior lights. I have to buy 1 more set to make it complete but I will be leaving the right side white for non tactical purposes...

Truck is looking great. When mined paid for the wife wants a T. Hopefully that will work out for us. I want to see how your finished sliders are too because I want to build some soon. Looking at what's out there and trying to figure out how I want mine.

Had a late start today but got a lot done..
First I used FRUs rear template and the front template I made to cut the 1/2" mount plates

Next welded the steps.(don't make fun of m welds lol I never said I was a fabricator lol) I will clean up up and make them look better.

Got my MOLLE gear from CHAD today and it looks very well made. Thanks Chad!!!

As u can see I have mounted to a piece of flex board and have used double sided tape to mount to the seatback.. Doesn't look the best but the reason for this is because I really don't want to drill into my seat.. The tape is only temporary.
I will be purchasing cudora seat covers from Marathon in the near future.. I believe I have derived a mounting system that will support the weight and not damage the seat or seat covers..

Another week down and all that is left are steps...

Once I got the sliders on jack stands I was able to make the mount brackets...

Once tacD on I tested and the Tacs held while lifting the truck...

Pulled them down and finished the welds.. All that is left is grinding and building steps.. Then it's paint time...

As long as he doesn't want it back immediately I can send u his and my template plus a template for the arms that attach to the actual slider...
