This battery has better stats then a yellow top & and should last me a very long time.

Off the top of my head I believe the CCA is between 825-850.. Yellow top is 750 if I'm not mistaken..

Just installed my dual fans but ran out of time to do the wiring!! I will wire up this weekend .. I haven't decided if I want to wire to the ignition or to a switch!! What do y'all think???

I did not take pictures of the beginning stage because we all know what it looks like behind the grille.
Here is the final product without grille..


To mount, I had to reverse the horn mount and notch the top of the fan to allow the release lever to swing free. I also had to notch the bottom and cut 2" off the plastic shroud so the fans would sit smooth and would not sit on my light bar.. I mounted to the center beam that runs down the middle of the radiator..

Sure as hell wouldn't want the thing running if you need to go into the water, I still need to put a switch in line so I can shut off the fan when I have too.

Negative!!! The belt fed pulls air through the fins and the dual fans will force air through

Very easy!! It took about 2 hours because it was trial and error. I just loosened the brush guard and pulled the grille.. Used a pair of wire snips to trim a little plastic and cut a slot for the hood release.. I think the hardest part was making sure I cleared light bar and emergency lights.. That's why it took so long. If they weren't there it would of been quick and painless.. It does look mean with the grille off...

Since you have both fans running, I'd toss he new electric fan's on a switch

Does look good, though I have no need for a mod like that, I hardly get many day per year over 85 haha

Yeah!!! It hasn't been to hot this summer but the last two days the index was 108!!! Not has hot as that desert 127 but hot to say the least!!!

Soo just sold my tires and ordered some 37x13.50x20 Nitto Mud Grapplers.. I figure if I don't like them I can resale for some 35s!!! I'm pumped to see how they will look...

Are you keeping the same rims? Do they have enough back spacing for the wider tire? Those rims look good on that truck & 37"s will look sick. I hope they work out :thumbs:

MessiaH2 I really appreciate it.. I have had a lot of projects but I'm partial to my truck.. I know I got a sick truck because I see ur truck which means u have good taste.. I googly eyed ur last trail pics for 2-3 days...
I am keeping the wheels and all should fit. Now it might swallow them fenders but you know what they say wemon like trucks like they like their men.. With BULL NECKs!!! Lmao

Now that my truck budget is in the negative lmao!! I'm trying to decide my next project!! Either hidden winch build or my SOA.. I'm leaning toward the SOA for the fact of cost and performance aspect! Also because I can't decide if I wanna go hidden winch or new bumper and winch.. Defiantly want self reliance with my winch but also know the benefits of the SOA.. Ohhh the dilemma!!!

I would do the SOA and a external winch mount for now. I built one similar to the cbphoto one for under $100. You obviously have welding capabilities and skill and its not hard
