Thank you to everyone for the great job of helping out and making our day fun and successful at Marble Falls!

Rodney and Julie took the lead and did a great job thank you!

Everyone helped out and made it a great day.

Mike and his son even said they'd like to be in the back because they were spot on on every obstacle and had no excuse after watching everyone else!

Lincoln and Rodger did a great job spotting.

Even Renee who is Chris' dad got into the act! He was very much in his element as he ran up and down with a video camera smiling the entire time and he even helped spot.

I saw lots of video cameras so I know there will be great pictures.

Julie and Lincoln had a hard time deciding who was going to drive sometimes, it'll be so nice when Lincoln gets his own truck! And a big thank you to them for also taking the lead and helping us find our way.

All in all I think everyone had a good time I saw Dan making a pot of coffee at lunch he didn't forget to bring anything.

The trails are not clearly marked all the time and often Rodney Lincoln, Mike and Julie would walk way up the trail to make sure there weren't any surprises.

By late afternoon we were all worn out but happy and it was about 90 degrees they made one last scouting trip up a trail a trail and came back hot and sweaty.

The drivers talked about it and it was decided to quit while we were ahead which meant we had to back down the hill.

No biggie we help each other it was no big deal.

It's so much fun to take newbies out for the first time I hope you guys had as much fun as I did.

And I know Renee was lukewarm on going off roading but I think we're going to see a lot more of him and Chris, he even gave us a Hummer hug when it was time to say goodbye !

Steve...a big ole thanks for the UCP as it is fantastic & solid. Missed you & Chris on the trails though...maybe next time. I totally understand that you guys have to break away from some of us noobs in order to go do the more extreme stuff that some of us are not ready for yet. But y'all don't stay away for long as we missed you guys.

Candi...thanks for the pics & the words. We had a great time & look forward to doing it again.

Sometimes we break into smaller groups but always leave a highly experienced driver/spotter with each group. Sounds like we need to spend a couple of days at Marble Falls and start easy and work the whole group up to some more difficult trails. It will be a lot of fun and we can bring everyone along as a group.

Just wanted to drop by and say it was great to meet you guys out at the Park this weekend. I posted a howdy up in the introduction section. Glad to see you guys had some fun. That video is great. I bet there was some seat grabbing on that one.

Candi, thanks for putting this trip together. I know it takes work and can be like herding cats- greatly appreciated.

To everyone else - it was great meeting all of you. Thanks for the guiding, spotting, scouting, advice and all-around good time. Liam and I had a great time and are looking forward to another trip. Barnwell weekend, Big Bend in the fall/winter, Marble Falls again, whatever.

I've got a few pictures that I'll try to get posted up tonight.

Question for anyone who knows. On the Hidden Falls website it says you can download the Custom Maps app on your phone/tablet pc & use their trail map as an overlay. Does anyone know how to do that? I downloaded the Custom Maps app to my Android but could not get my phone to save the Trails map from Hidden Falls to use it as an overlay. The closest I could get was to save it as a bookmark which would not allow the app to recognize it as a saved file..
Hello bendyprissy I need new android phone which shows best possible maps and connectivity. I move to different locations every month so need best possible device. Hope you can help

Sorry, but SickString was the one who figured out the map overlay & I haven't even tried to put it on my phone yet.
