PLEEEEEEZE! Bring back the H's! I have noticed since the demise of the Hummer nameplate that the GMC trucks and to a lesser extent the Chevy's too have begun to incorporate some Hummer-esque body lines mainly in the hoodand front fender areas. Hope they make this happen!

I hope they make it true, I'd jump in Pre-order line as soon as they were release.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. I'm not loyal to the Hummer brand. If GM comes out with new "Hummer" models I don't care if they say Chevrolet or GMC on the side. What I care about is the capability of the vehicle and to a lesser extent the styling. Let the "H4" come out and be a success, then add true H2/H3 (or better) off road capability to the Tahoe/Yukon line and my vehicle purchases for the next 10+ years will be set. Remember, I only bought an H2 because I gave up trying to find the right H3 Alpha and the Tahoe/Yukon just don't have the off road ability I was looking for.

If the production vehicle matches the concept vehicle it would be awesome, but they rarely do. The bean counters usually remove the coolest features/capabilities.
i also think GM has lost the Offroad crowd. GM has zero credibility in the market segment. They abandoned an iconic brand, not only stranded a huge segment of their off road market but screwed them over with the whole sell, shut down, sell shutdown debacle. GM should start with a $10,000 discount for any former Hummer owner that wants one.
GM sees Ford selling $60,000 Raptors as fast as they can make them and Jeep dominating an entire market segment. Now they want to jump back in. Tread carefully. GM also needs to start paying attention to their safety warranty concerns with current Hummer owners, ie stepping up on air bag deployment issues.
i would live to see this happen but only if GM is willing to do it right, stand behind it and mend some fences with Current/former Hummer owners.

Dave is spot on...

If this comes out in a few years I, God willing, will be done with college and hopefully working full time. It may be time to buy a DD by then. The pro of having Hummer going out of business was that I never had an appeal for anything else so squeaky would stick around. Squeaky would still stick around but it would be tough to decide what to take wheeling LOL.

Back to Daves comments, It would be sweet but going back to GM after they ****ed us is like going back to your girlfriend after they cheated on you. If it comes out as a rebranded H4 CONCEPT then it will sell. If they pull all the cool factors out of it then forget it. The new cars already do too much thinking for you.

Assuming something like that came with 4 seats and enough room in the back for camping gear I'd give up my 4-door requirement. Very Jeep Wrangler meets Mad Max (with a bit of FJ thrown in).

I hope it holds true to the original concept regardless of badging. I am waiting and hoping. :)
