I'm all signed up but unfortunately I'm still only going to be able to make it on Saturday instead of camping. As a reminder I think the early registration ends tomorrow 26 April 2013 but I can't get to the website at work so Stouttrout let me know if I'm wrong.

If everyone can verify whether they are going or not, Stouttrout said he may be able to keep us as one group. Couple of issues we all should probably think about. First, deciding what trails we want to take. I'm just starting to build my H3 so without UCP/sliders I'm limiting myself to the level 3 type trails we did last time. If others want significantly harder trails (looking at you cdarveaux:thumbs:) then I'm ok with Stouttrout putting me with another group. Second, if we stay as our own group has anyone been out there enough times that they can lead?

Since me and mine are getting ready for a move I'm definitely not trying to take over. So if I'm way off base Stouttrout, BlueSteelHorse07, Green 1, whoever, tell me to pound sand. No hurt feelings here.

Ok, Lincoln is now registered with my Hummer & he is with you AFMike as we are in the same boat & cannot go as extreme as others. I will be there volunteering so I did not include myself in the registration; that is correct right Stouttrout? However, we are staying at the Motel 6 as we did not feel like roughing it & our beloved La Quinta is sold out. So we will be there by 9 am for the meetings. We will be there both days but will leave immediately after the events on Sunday as we both have to work on Monday.

Sorry cdarveaux but a guardian must be legal because if you were to get injured then that person would not be able to consent to medical treatment for you. Not meaning to be a downer but you will also be carrying other people in your vehicle with you and whomever takes responsibility for you would also be taking responsibility for them should your actions cause them harm, even if by accident. Unfortunately I get to see the legal aspects of medical accidents/injuries which is the only reason why I throw this out here.

cdarveaux, you could have your parents sign a note or wavier releasing the off road parks liability and give permission to whomever is giving medical attention i.e paramedics, hospital etc. That is possible, ive done it before at places.

Edit: and nowhere on there website does it talk about having a legal guardian with you or being 18 or older to sign up. (www.wheelersforthewounded.org)

Chris, this is the same thing we went through last time and you know what is needed. If you have questions call the park and ask because no one on here can give you a correct answer when it is then park making the rules. You Renee what we talked about last time and know what can resolve this. Good luck

Hey, Mike, I'm in the same boat with you, I registered for the two days, but unfortunately, I can only stay one day, Saturday. Like you I am limiting my self to level 3. I'm okay with Stouttrout, placing me in a different group, also, but, it will be great to have our own group. Damn forgot, Lincoln is going. Lincoln and RSC was the lead last time, I'll follow Lincoln, if he takes the lead.

Still need a temporary guardian lol

Chris,

Per our conversation. by the way, I'll be heading down your neck of the woods, this Saturday, going to pick up a H2 third row seat I will be purchasing from a vendor down there in Houston, getting ready for my road trip to Pismo Beach, CA for the Hummer Event this upcoming June.

I am not registered but I am planning on being there. I will only be there for Saturday and have not made any reservations yet. As far as a group or split up I prefer our group together. I also agree a stock H3 with out added UCP and Rocker protection should limit themselves to level 3 trails. A stock H2 without the nerf bars and with decent tires can easily do a level 4 trail. I am fine with running level 3 trails to keep the group together. AS far as who is in charge we all are. This is a group that should work together and learn together. We can learn on level 3 trails and prepare everyone for more challenging trails as we bring the group along and as the trucks are better prepared. Our goals are to have fun, learn , limit carnage and get everyone home safe. Everyone needs to understand damage can happen. Can't wait to see everyone. CDarveroux bring Mark with you or make him bring the H1 and ride with him.
