Radiator replacement done.., dropped the tranny pan and sure enough pink slush!! :( on the bright side I did not see any signs of clutch material in the bottom of the pan.. Hooked up to a machine for a full flush so we will see what happens.. Cross ur fingers it can atleast hold off 6 months to a year...

It's offically been announced! My truck and my business partners Ford will be on the boxes of OLB Offroadledbars head light kit boxes.. I'm trying to bring the hummer back to production :p hopefully this will be good for business...

Well the truck is all back together and drove like a champ... ATF Fluid still has a tint to it but it's not slushy.. Should I pay another $300 for vacuum flush or change the fluid ever so many hundred miles until the tint is gone???

Lol yea.. I haven't seen it yet to see how bad the discoloration is.. What I have paid sofar I prolly could of bought a new transmission.. But there was no metal flakes or clutch material when we cracked it open.. They hooked up a vacuum and sucked it dry. Once complete spent a 1.5 days flushing the engine with water.. Pink shart was everywhere.. Got it all back together and drove like a champ..I figure if I can hold off on off-roading and limit heavy driving for one year, I can refinance and go full Desiel swap...

What have u paid for that was so much? Transmission flush is under 200 bucks.

The full flush and service was $307. $85 to have towed to and from transmission shop 3 hrs of labor to install the new radiator and external transcooler, 8 hours to flush the gunk out of the motor labor was about $60-65 an hr.. And before everyone says it doesn't take 8 hrs to flush a motor, I was there most of the day swinging by to check in and everytime there was still pink gunk flowing out... So I'm about 1100 into this mess... If u have a stock radiator it would behoove you to spend $42.50 on a performance transcooler and move it out of the radiator...

That's crazy, but worth the money if it means saving your motor/trans

UPDATE: dropped the transfuild again because it was still a little pink.. Still no metal shavings or clutch material!! I'm so freaking amazed.. I also did a little mod to take some pressure off the front in.. I added an inch spacer on the front of the front diff which also straighten the drive axel.. I know some people say this is a nono but my buddy did it for his h3t and has been running a year no issue.. Need less to say the drive was way better on and offroad today... This mod cost me $7.00!!

Now I just need to find out why my truck is still througing code misfire multiple cylinders and enjection error cyl 7

They are two official hockey pucks with metal spacers on each side.. I'm fabbing up steel spacers like my buddies but I wanted to test the theory before investing my time... I'm so impressed with the quality change in the ride.. Especially since my front in was maxed out...I know it was only one drive and light off-roading but atleast I don't feel like I'm riding on tractor tires lol... These dang Arkansas roads are like off-roading all the time lol....
