Zombie Apocalypse Kit by Gerber

[Bigunit]

My son, wife and I all are all huge fans of The Walking Dead and they remembered that I had said how cool it would be to be able to find and have one of those Zombie kits that they featured in the show. Gerber made that set and sold a limited number of them for a while on their site but they sold out within minutes. They found and got me a set for Father's Day! :woot:The quality of these things is first-rate and despite rumors to the contrary, they are all made in the USA.

Now I'm all set for the Zombies (and camping with a set of fine cutlery )! A couple weeks ago, Gerber made these sets available on Amazon - in case anyone needs the link so that you can drop a few hints for gifts that family members can get you in the future, here it is:

Looking good Luis! Seems like a fair deal. Now are you heading down to Florida?

Nice gain, how is the weight?

Nice gain, how is the weight?

Thanks James. The weight isn't bad at all. The whole kit (w/sheaths & carrying case) only weighs 10.4 lbs.

Congrats. Now all you need are some zombies...or non paying clients.

I've been eyeing up that Gerber LMF II infantry knife for a few months! From what I read it's nice and stout, plus the holes in the handle let you lash it to a stick to use as a spear! :horns:

The price Amazon has isn't too out of line. By the time you get your hands on a nice folder, a fixed blade and an axe your at a couple hundred bucks anyway.
