Uploading pics from an iPad

I know using photobucket or something similar works great but sometimes I just want to post pics from my iPad. 98% of the time I get this error message. It took me about 5 tries to get this pic uploaded...I'm not sure if the problem is on my end or the forums. Does anybody else have this problem? It definitely gets frustrating.

The forum only allows pics up to 1mb (can't recall the exact size, but it's about that). You have a few options: manually resize the phootos before uploading to make them smaller; host them on a site like Photobucket and link to them; use an app like Tapatalk to browse the forum and use their service to host the pictures. I use SmugMug to host most of my photos and I use Tapatalk when uploading from my phone.

Unfortunately, we do not have unlimited storage space for pictures so we have to use the size restriction.

I just use Tapatalk on my iPad and it works great... I think they have a free version now too!
