Long name: Alpha Trans Temp(you pick whatever you want)
Short name: TransTemp (you pick whatever you want)
Minimum Value: 0
Maximum Value: 220
scale: x1

BOOM. Works great.

Enter it as a Custom PID. After that, you can add it to your gauge panel just like any other.

Yeah it shows all of the vehicle parameters on your Android device. Most use their phone, but my headunit is Android powered, so it all shows up on there while I'm driving.

If that is your formula for converting Celsius to Fahrenheit it is wrong. It is °C x 9/5 + 32 = °F.

Not to hijack, but does anyone have any comparison notes against DashCommand? I've always wanted to test one of these apps against my ScanGauge. I'd really like to add Oil Pressure to my monitoring abilities.

Hopefully doesn't take that long! LOL

If you hate shipping times as much as I do, you might look into an Amazon Prime membership. Free 2 day shipping, and if you want it overnight, it's like an extra $3.
Membership is ~$100 per year, but between my wife and I, we average 2-3 overnight purchases per week....so it more than pays for itself!

Yeah I had it but, amazon.ca sucks compared to amazon.com....I tried getting prime for ".com" but it still charged me shipping once the package crossed the boarder :(

Oh dang... that does suck. Hopefully they will expand their service sometime in the future.

Thanks to the gauges I saw that my voltage is dropping even when driving. When I first started my truck up I was at 14.6v then when I got home after a 50 min drive it was 12.5. Checked with a multimeter to make sure the gauge was correct and it is. Restarted the truck and its back to 14.6v. Looks like it is time for a new alternator

Nope your alternator is working perfectly. The hummer has a smart/intelligent alternator that gives the battery only whats needed thus preventing over charging.

You will see next time the battery is fylly charged and the volts drop to 12.5 just switch on your headlamps and volts will climb above 12.8. Switch off light and volts backs down to 12.5 after a few minutes.

I struggled with my dual battery charger a ctex d250s that needs 12.8 or higher alternator volts before it will charge 2nd battery.

This man speaks the truth!

Mine does the exact same thing. I actually just deleted the voltage monitor on my Torque gauges, because watching it show 12.5-12.6v kinda freaks me out. LOL
The only time you need to worry, is if the Battery light on your instrument cluster lights up.

For the Transmission Temps in Torque, you can just load the GM Extended PIDs. There's no need to manually type in the PID - I think loading the extended PIDs is under a menu setting lower down in the list of settings (sorry, it's been a few years since I did this). There is Transmission Temp 1 & 2 - one of them work with the H3, just load it and if it shows temperature, you know you are on the right PID :)

For Oil, the H3 doesn't have an Oil Pressure or Temperature PID (that I've been able to find). If anyone knows the PID, post it here!
