Planning a run to get beat up at Cliffs again. Who's in? :corn:

Location: 2681 East Route 6, Marseilles, IL 61341

Website: http://www.thecliffsinsaneterrain.com/?display=Weather#!__home-page

Date: Saturday, August 18th, 2012

Time: 9 a.m. meet at the parking lot. 9:30ish, hit the trails.

Trail Map (updated): http://www.hummer4x4offroad.com/forum/showthread.php?278-Trail-Maps&highlight=maps

Plan: Attack trail 1 first, to give newbies experience (if needed), move up to more difficult trails as desired. Avoid Carnage trail unless I feel particularly "insane" (saw Pygmies there last time, and they stole my mirror).

What to bring:

- cash - $20 per driver, $5 per passenger
- Photo ID for each visitor
- provisions (optional), they usually have a snack shack open
- CB radio (preferred)
- winch (preferred, tree saver required) / tow strap
- parts (bring what you can)
- flag (or you can buy one at the park for $13.83)
- A good attitude (required)

They have an air compressor available, and I have one as well. All rigs types are welcome.

I made sure I would have that weekend off, or I should say I wont be on the road.

I'm waiting to get another set of stock rims and would like to get some black powder coat on them before the tires go on them. Shouldn't be a problem and cant wait to see how the h3 does.

I will have to miss. The family and I are moving to New Mexico on Aug. 1st.
Going to miss all the people I met on the trips. In the 3 years I have been here, I've been on about 12 runs with you guys. They all were fun.
Already scouting the southwest forum. Looks Like MOAB in October!!!

I plan on being there. Just got back to town this weekend. The radiator is leaking. Trying to get Hummer to cover it. The bumper to bumper is up so who knows. If not I'm ordering an OEM one fromthe ebay, tomorrow. Then I'm waiting on the powder coater before the tires get mounted. I did pick up a couple spare racks. I need to put together some stuff for trail repairs if it breaks.
I should go out and dig out some straps and clevises, while I'm thinking about it.

2 confirmed, 4 maybes, and myself waiting on parts. If everything goes well I have an extra seat. Just bringing my boy up with me.
The powder coater did not get my wheels done this weekend. I went ahead and ordered new tires, Hummer or GM backed out on warranting my radiator(the bumper to bumper is up only 54,000 miles) so I will have one Monday. Thanks to eBay, $230 shipped.

I'm cool with heading up as a group. I may even get Mike to come along and get his H3 dirty for the first time. He doesn't have the best tires, so we may need to take it easy or let him go around obstacles.

I got the radiator in last week and sport truck specialties has the new tires. So I am dropping off a set of rims to get some 35's mounted. I should be ready to go by Friday. Unfortunately the powder coater let me down. Had the wheels 2to weeks and didn't even get started on them so I picked them up.
Paladine if you don't mind I may try to meet up with you and follow you up. Are you going to go up 80 or another way?

I got to pull a few tools together just incase something happens. Not sure what all I'm going to grab. But more importantly. I have to grab my straps , snatch block and clevises. What do most of you guys do for lunch or how long do you think we will be there. I picked up a cheap CB and antenna. The antenna will be replaced later.can't wait now.

How many people are still going?
