H3 Steering rack options

Hey guys, my 06 h3 is no baby when it comes to crawling and mudding, but ive been to 4. Yes 4 freaking shops to get her aligned and they always say "that's the best they can do." I'm wondering if my steering rack is weak as crap because it veers hard to the left. Any suggestions on an upgrade? I'm running 33 inch tires.

String & carpenters square. Always got better results doing it myself the old school way.

I align myself too. Tape measure for ride height. Android clinometer on my phone for camber and eyeball front tire to align with the rear to set toe.

06 H3's came with 14mm tie rods. Starting in 07 GM went to 16mm.
My H3 wouldn't hold a front end alignment until I changed to the 16mm rods.
To do this you will have to change both the inner and outer rod as a set. It's not hard and the 16mm bolt right in. You don't have any mods to the truck. And you will be a lot happier afterwards.

X2 on the rack bushings. You'll never be able to align it with the rack shifting back & forth on the crossmember. Outfitter Design kit fixes the issue for good.

A new rack may be in your future. I recently replaced mine due to a small leak but the steering is much tighter now. The racks do wear out without any visible signs.

How's the rest of your suspension? If you've got worn bushings in the upper or lower control arms, or worn ball joints, those could affect alignment.
