I'm getting it tomorrow morning. the fender exploded and bent the metal pretty good. and shattered the window. Im just glad the tire hit first and probably prevented a lot of damage!!

Yea i was hoping that it being a discontinued vehicle would not make it hard to find parts. then again insurance is paying for it and its now the shops job to find the parts.

the wreck wasn't bad it was only 15mph and i bounced off the pole and drove away like nothing happened.

The parts are available through GM. Things that usually get discontinued first are interior parts. Less sales. Body parts are generally quite readily available. I wouldn't worry about that yet.

Good luck with the repairs. Can't believe how hard you guys have been hit this winter. Time to maybe move out to the Southwest. Supposed to reach a high of 85 today in Tucson.

just got the quote today... $4800! they are going to replace the whole rear quarter panel instead of fixing it. I guess thats better and stronger than it would be after beating into place.

I have had 6 snow days in the last 3 weeks. last time NC had this much snow was 4 years ago! the body shop was telling me they were having over 20 cars being towed in today alone

Time for tube fenders! :)

I have been looking at it a lot with out the fender and i have to say it looks sweet! it reminds me of the jeeps with those riveted squared looking body armor flares. when i can 100% dedicate this as a trail rig those fenders are going first! i could make it up more narrow trails and bounce off rocks cause the tires stick 6inches out further than any other body part!
