I've had R1 Concepts drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads on my front for over a year. I'm not a hard core off-roader but have never had a rock/mud problem with them. I can't say I've noticed any improvement though. Regardless I'm putting the same thing on my rears today. They do look cooler.
