Roof Mounted Marker Lamps (Orange) Help

I know GM discontinued this item and nobody wants to part with them so I know someone somewhere must have it for less than an arm and a leg. This website LOOKS like they have what i'm looking for but they don't provide a picture. Does this sound legit?

I would bet if you tried to order them, they would state (discontinued). I you can buy a set for that price go for it. The last set I saw on e bay went for about $1,500

Why not take some normal Chevy 2500 roof lights and hook them up. I guarantee it will be less then $1500

I like the H3 ones that GM made but you're right. The 2500 cab lights are like $100

Harbor Freight sells a set of 5 for like 20.00 bucks. They look decent. Might have to fab the mounting holes

If you do not mind getting ass-raped without the benefit of a reach-around,

I can tell you where to get a set made to order for $1199.95.

(Insane amount of money IMHO).

As for using over the counter marker lights, it has been done...some pretty nicely.

The problematic area is the seam where the windshield molding meets the roof rail molding.

OEM markers are designed to curve/fit on the windshield molding perfectly, where the OTC lights require you to split the seam or place them too far back to look right.

Bro, not to be this guy, but read the thread and as others have already mentioned, you can do it yourself with over the counter marker lights.
