rocker bars

Are the factory rocker bars powdercoated or is it paint? Going to get mine redone, and need to know for the person who is going to sandblast them.

I believe they are powder coated, but it's true, if you get them sand blasted it doesn't matter, unless he just wants to know what you prefer to get it re done in, which of course I would suggest powder coating over just painting them!

Different question. ..removing drivers side bar and there's a cylinder attached to it. any ideas?

Evap canister is the big box and the smaller cylinder is a relief valve I think, you can just unbolt the bracket from the rock rail and let it dangle or tie strap it up if you are going to drive around while your rails are powder coated.

Yep, those are factory rails. Interesting note; they used the same rails for both the H2 and H3. Only the brackets are different. Isn't fair, because that means on the H3 they go closer to the wheel opening. On the H2 they don't quite go to the opening, so if you are sliding over something like a root, you can drop off the rail and hit the body before the tire gets to it.

mine are rusting on the very ends I thnk because watercan ay in the open ends, nyone eve cap them somehow?
