Powersteering fluid question?

Hey all got a question? I am pulling my rack this saturday and installing a mod, since i have the lines disconnect i want to purge all the old fluid out. Gm just states in the manual to use their fluid and no other recomendations? Anyone else using something different with a part number? Also anyone happen to know what size bolt i could use on the return line while i bleed everything? Going to try to have a step by step process of removing the rack and reinstalling with pics.

I actually just had to add some to mine on Tuesday.. I noticed that it was below the add line, probably some leaked out when they changed the rack a few months ago, and they were kind enough to not check to make sure that none did. I went with the GM power steering fluid that is listed in the manual. I had to call a few different GM dealers to finally find one who had some in stock.

I used lucas power steering fluid with conditioners in the past.

just make sure it's clear and not red. I use NAPA. :_
