Polyurethane H3 steering bushings

Found these on Ebay after looking around for cheaper options for securing the steering rack better:

$54 with shipping. Seems like a good lower cost option.

One of your challenges is that it still uses the OEM bracket which is known to bend as well as deform the crossmember when it bends. The aftermarket bracket solutions replace the OEM bracket and do not deform.

I have those bushings. They work. I dont have the deformed bracket problem. I've had the h3 since 2006 but put these on within the last year or so.

Curious, have you taking your h3 off road since you put these on? The abuse and issues tend to appear under off road conditions

Only once or twice since I put these on because I moved to New York and minor offroading at that. Some beach driving too that I don't count.

When I was living in Tucson I did a lot of offroading and towing a SXS. I only ended up with tie rod problems and leaking axle seals. Never had a problem with my rack bracket bending.

All I can really say is they are harder bushings.

side note.... don't leave Arizona.

I have poly bushing kit sitting on the shelf. Hope to try it out sometime.
