H3 P0741 code

Well guys I had my 07 h3 running smooth for a couple months then I'm slammed with a p0741 code. I've read that you have to replace the Tcm and ecm. I was wondering if anyone has had the same thing happen?

Would you suggest bringing it to a shop and having them taking a look at it? Ive already replaced the TCC solenoid and I don't know what else to do. May just register the thing up in flagstaff to escape emissions...
