If there will be a lot of people with dogs on the sunday trip, I could change it to the other possibility; Crystal Geyser. That would be all BLM land; thus dogs are allowed.

Har har, gentlemen. For your information, she is very accepting of my Hummer addiction and she would like an H3 herself. (I knew that before I gave her the ring!) I'll have another Hummer (or two.....or three) before I've got a Leaf and 12 screaming kids. Especially since I only want 2 kids -- and they'll be well behaved.

Oh wait, I'm not even 22.....I don't want ANY kids. Ya, that's it. :shifty: I need more trucks first.

In reply to Alrock, there is no permit required for daytime travel on the white rim trail; and in fact, no permit required at night, so long as you DO NOT CAMP without a permit.

They permit thing was a short time frame during the spring and only used for monitoring the trail and traffic running the trail. They have since installed some traffic counters.

When we are in the area of Shafer canyon (potash road) we can all look for the skeleton of Lance Leeroy Arellano. Thirty grand reward for his body. I'm sure the only thing left will be bones....

If not, we can plug him a few times, he is wanted Dead or Alive and believe me, no one in Moab will give a damn, so long as he is dead.

H4O hasn't done anything in Moab....yet.

Behind the rocks is a pretty damn extreme trail, so be prepared to break something.

Turns out I can't make this trip. Will miss seeing you all in October. But, I will make sure to be there on the next trip in April. Have a blast and make sure to let all of us pikers know what we are missing.

No way, Alex you have to be there. I have a lot of things that need to happen at work for me to break away. I have to close two land loans and a construction loan. Schedule says it should happen but these things never happen on schedule. Truck will be ready and loaded and I am out of here the second the last closing is in the books.
