One year from today. And hopefully, it will be the day that Barack Hussein Obama is told to get the F out of the white house and go back to Chicago.

He will just be replaced with another bought and paid for politician who is not interested in anything except his own ego, career and bank account. One thing that can be said about Obama is that he can at least complete a sentence, unlike the fella before him.

As long as it is on his TelePrompTer he can. :) ever heard him speak without the TelePrompTer, he can't put three words together without stammering like a fool.

well...if he stammers like a fool, what does one call what the last guy did? I am not a fan of either btw. We are doomed.

At least the last guy in the white house had integrity, didn't hang around with known terrorists, didn't go around the world apologizing for being an American, and didn't try and start class warfare every time he spoke. Was he a perfect president? NO! But did he have socialistic views? NO!

And here is one example of Obama without a teleprompter.

Dubya turned out to be not as good as I had hoped but Obama has turned out to be every bit as bad as I feared. I guess that sums it up for me.

Now, let's be honest here...I know you know the vastly contrasting ratio of verbal blunders on youtube between these two losers so I am not going to play this silly internet game and argue politics on a 4x4 forum. For every fact/video you post I can find a worse one to counter...followed by you finding an even worse one to counter my counter and so on and so on until it gets personal and nasty. I am a bit disappointed to "hear" you say that one has more integrity than the other. Considering that either one of these guys would step over your dead body on top of my dead body just to pick up a dollar or get a vote. It's kinda silly to say one guy really means it when he kisses babies. Maybe one was better than the other at acting like he had integrity? I'd buy that. Nobody gets to that office without being the dirtiest fighting, biggest lie telling/best acting c*nt in the world and it's naive to think that any of them give a crap about the average Joe (or any plumbers named Joe) or didn't screw someone over, kill somebody or buy their way in. So I have to admit that I am not surprised that one merely hangs around with known terrorists when the other makes a living being in business with them, to me it's kind of an absurdly moot point -- everyone is in bed with everyone nowadays making a buck off the plight of someone somewhere and at the same time acting like he/she gives a poop distracting us from issues that matter to most of the country.

That is exactly my feelings. And honestly, I don't really like any of the republican candidates. However, at this time I can see at least two who can do a better job with the economy that Obama. And I don't believe any of them will go around the world asking forgiveness for being an American.

all I can say is wow. And bye.

Please understand I just mean on this thread, and my comment is basically agreeing with your comment. Maybe it came across too harsh, and if so, I apologize.

Your input for all other threads is appreciated. So please don't take it as I meant on this forum, just on this thread.

I think W was weakened in part because he didn't have a good stage presence and what helped catapult Obama forward was his well executed speeches. Bush may not have been the smartest president but he did surround himself with talented people - which is what has made him successful from college to presidency. I don't think we've seen Obama pick his cabinet quite as well.

What I respected about Bush was that he took responsibility for his presidency. Haven't seen that in the current administration. It's everybody's fault but theirs.

Ron B seems like a decent guy. He is welcome to his opinion and I think F5 did a good job of making that clear.

Too many libs around drives me crazy though so he can't bring in all his buddies. The place will become like HXC was back in the day... that's why I quit going there.

I tried bringing up recently how much support Obama got... from several vocal guys over there at the time he got elected... they didn't remember (or seem to have forgotten) how much they loved him back then.

Look what you bastards did to us.

Thanks for letting me know that perspectives different than your own are welcome in all other threads on this public forum. I will go back to the build threads where we all agree 100% and everything is black and white. I will patiently wait for someone to disagree with my choice of shocks so I can let them know they are not welcome in my thread.

Obama is only good with a teleprompter, W wasn't. But when it came to speaking off the cuff, W was much better. I think that is because he was genuine, believed what he was saying and it came from the heart unlike.......enough said.

GW was perceived as ignorant because he was dyslexic but in reality he was very intelligent. A lot of intelligent people are dyslexic including me. I take offense at people picking on other people with disabilities. If you say, well I didn’t know he had a disability, then I guess your excuse is you’re ignorant?

I met Dubya in person. Very warm, genuine and intelligent guy. He did not get a fair shake from the media but what conservative or moderate politician does? Ron's premise is solid. Politicians are bought and paid for by someone. Depending on the candidate and party affiliation it is just a different someone. The rise of the national party apparatus and the PACs have diminished the importance of us, the voters. Now candidates curry the favor of the parties, PACs and big donors. Once on the ballot we really don't have much choice. For the most part, for most candidates, individual donations aren't what get them elected. Yes we vote for them and vote them in but we don't always get the candidate we really want, the one who will represent his district and constituents regardless of the pressure put on by the national party.
