This was pure hell......but worth it!

Not an install for the faint hearted. It's tons of Cut, Hack, Chop, Weld, chop, chop, repeat.

Basic idea was to make it look almost like it was an option from the factory.

Here's a few pics of how it's going...

What winch plate did you use or did you make your own? That looks awesome and was the exact idea I wanted to try to look into doing later this year. Excellent Job!!!!!

Looks great, I like it a lot. Very stealth. Are you able to reach the clutch lever through the grille? Looks like you have decent visibility through the mesh grille for spooling the cable in. Is the hawse fairlead going to be mounted behind the bumper facial to the winch plate?

1/4 universal job from e-bay, then modified a bit.

Yes, it should only stick out maybe 1/2 inch. I ran out of cut-off wheels late last night, I'm going to try finish it up tonight or tomorrow.

The plastic above the bumper cover will be cut into the same shape, I'm using a Warn steel unit.

Clean install, I like it. How much room do you have between the bumper and winch. I'm wondering is this could be done with the OEM bumper mount off road lights.

Never fit, it's mashed in there. Every piece of the front including the grill is chopped, cut and shaved.

I had to even modify the control box to put the on/off switch on the other side & got the plug in for the remote to line up with a grill opening.

It was like a jigsaw puzzle.
