Well after the Bilstein 5100's, the Trail Duty Bumpstops, and the Scorpionworks Crossmember I finally got around to ordering a Gobi full length Stealth Rack, Thor Rear Bumper, and a PCM Electric Fan. I really wanted some new rims and some 35's but I'm going to pass on that for now and just use my OEM rims and less than 5K 33inch BFG A/T's. I really want the Volant CAI (model fits the 09-12 V8 equipped Colorado's so it should fit our V8 H3's), but I think that can wait as well.

I'll be taking my family to Branson, MO in the H3 (still trying to tell my wife it's going to be TIGHT in the back seat with a 18month old in the middle of two adults in the back, but I'm driving so I don't have to worry about that haha), probably going to make a short detour and do some off roading at Hot Wells, AR if the weather permits. The rack should help with the cargo room issue that's for sure!

Next Wish List:

Volant CAI
Steering Rack Brace
35 M/T's on 17inch rims
Rigid Dually lights for the Gobi Rack

LOL my daughter is only 16 1/2 months old so she'll be in a car seat, but yep there is a middle shoulder belt in the back of my 08 H3. Gotta be a super skinny kid/person though!!

haha I had to out and look. I would have lost that bet lol. I never realized there was a center seat belt. I just thought the cup holder was there and it was a 4 seater. Lol I couldn't imagine anyone sitting there.

Yeah it's pretty narrow back there, but like I said I'm not gonna be the poor person stuck back there haha.

I use the sh!t out of my GOBI stealth for camping, you can put a lot up there! That being said, pay attention to your load and displacement. You don't wanna run the risk of overloading a roof support (like nugget did I believe?)

Yeah I'll make sure to place the load evenly. I had a Safety Devices Rack on my 97 Range Rover (very rare rack) and it is very similar to the Gobi.

The main upgrade I can't wait to install is the PCM Electric fan! My 5.3L felt like a Tug Boat on hot days especially taking off from a stop light. It's cooler now and I don't notice it as much, but my Alpha also ran just above the middle mark on the gauge and at idle or in heavy traffic it would climb slightly higher. It always came back down, but I want the most cooling I can get.

The Thor Bumper looks great, and I don't think a small rear end crash is going to hurt it vs the OEM egg shell of a rear bumper.

Here is the Volant 15753 for the 09-12 Chevy Colorado with the 5.3L Anyone know if it will fit in our Alpha's? I'm 99% sure the engine layout is the same as the Colorado. I'm looking at this vs the AirDoc setup because the previous owner messed up the OEM air box and lid. It stays together, but most of the tabs are broken.

Thor rear bumper is on. I had to go and have my exhaust tweaked since the previous owner cut the muffler out they routed the exhaust tip to close to the anti sway bar, and it was to high for the Thor bumper. 20.00 later all is well and the bumper is on. I was planning on installing the license plate next to the trailer wiring, but I don't like it hanging out over nothing. Going to fab up a rear tire mount with an LED light soon. For now zip ties lol.

Next up will hopefully be the electric fan. Thinking of doing a flush of the dex coolant and switching over to the 100% compatible green stuff while I'm at it.
