Modifications - How to request Manufacturers / Products be added to selection lists.

I was adding the modifications I've done to my vehicle in the forum garage and noticed that there is no ability to add items to the list that are missing (there were several items I was unable to add). I can see where this would be a data integrity nightmare if folks could freely add given the natural tendency for folks with open fields in data entry to have a lot of variability as to how they reference the same thing (which a good reason to not have this ability). Is there a submission process for getting manufacturers / products added to the list? There also seems to be some maintenance that could be done to clean up some duplicates and vague products. I'm happy to assist in any way I can if provided with rights to administer this (unless it's on an Apache server in linux running against a MySQL back-end database or something ... with no front end UI to manage this).

Either way, the forum rocks, is extremely well put together and the community blows me away with how supportive it is of fellow members. It's as close to a judgement-free zone as I've seen in the auto enthusiast forum arena. Great job moderating and maintaining it and keep it up!!

You can just send me a PM with the manufacturers and products you need and I will add them.

The Garage software is a 3rd party add-in as was last updated by the programmer - oh, just about never. I've got the settings so that you can add your own stuff but either the software isn't working right or it is absolutely counter-intuitive.

Anyway, just PM me the stuff and I will add it in.
