I'm out guys. Mt little accident is still haunting me and I can't do anything with the Jeep to get it ready. Haven't missed one in a while but I will be there in the spring. Have a great time and be safe, I'll be watching from a distance on the Internet.

BIG FREAKING NEWS!!!! I just got my transfer case in... all I need is my steering rack done this week (going to take it to backcountryislife's steering rack guy... no possible way THAT could go wrong...)

Suddenly my odds of making it jumped from 30% to 99%. See you in Moab!!!! :thumbs:

One week! We will be on the road next Saturday headed west towards Moab. The plan is to wheel Monday and Tuesday.

i will be out at Behind the Rocks for the 24 hrs. of moab mountain bike race till around noon on sunday . F5 has a sunday run planned and Nav will be around . you will see me when i come in for more wood. im camping thurs. fri. and sat. night the 4th,5th, and 6th , it's out by the sand dunes where Goat launched his Yota if anyone wants to swing by and say hi if they are coming in early.
i'll show Nav where to have Alaska Dan put the trailer if they roll in while im gone , the front wood lot is mostly clear and the tents can go back in the regular spot .

We hope to be there friday evening.I'll head out to give you a hand as soon as i can:klink

we've checked the supplies and are good on just about everything , Thanks to Jeff JR3t still lots of paper towels ... one thing we will need is Toilet Paper so if one of you Flops that live in the city could hit costco or ?? and pick up a case that would be great since our usual hookup won't be attending this trip . thanks in advance

How's the paper plates and bowls? Plastic silverware?

If needed we will get them.

Counting down the days. Today (Sun),then three days of work , then hit the road. All that new paint underneath should be dry or blown off by the time we make Moab Fri nite or Sat morning. Whats the weather doing out there?

Well the truck gear is ready, slight run in w/ the hornets who didn't like me using the hose to wash my cooler. They've been evicted, hornets 1 - me 50+. Pack tonight after work, run a few errands in the am then hit the road :woot:

Alrighty.. time to solidify plans. Looks like I'm getting in Tuesday night (late) and will run Wednesday, Thursday solo and then the wife and kids showing up for Friday and Saturday. Anyone up to running Golden Spike this year?

Screw it-- I'm going to come in Monday night, running solo through Thursday. Friday and Saturday I'll have the family with, might even let my wife drive some. My 3 year old son and 5 year old daughter are coming... (Fri and Saturday)-- any other kiddos showing up? I'm camping Monday through Thursday (Sand Flats?) and then at Super 8 Thursday through Sunday. Can't freaking wait. I totally thought I wouldn't make it... but thanks to backcountryislife's spare parts I'm in though.
