I didn't have monsoon system.

Oh? didn't know this was a thing... can you control the volume on the on star? right now with my set up the on star plays through the speakers but on full volume!

I'm not 100% sure if you can control the volume. I did read that there was a knob inside to set the desired volume but its a set it and forget type of setting.

thats why mine is so feakin loud! I'll have to take a look at mine when I have the deck out for my rear view camera install
