Want to move my license plate to my spare tire so I can mount a reverse camera with it. What mount system did you guys go with? I'm not needing it to have a brake light just as long as it comes with wiring harness for the white light.

Why not put the camera in the bumper above the hitch receiver? 3/4" hole is all you need.

Because I'm wanting to relocate the plates for a cleaner look. The camera being there is just a plus. I've already had it down there and due to where my exhaust is, it melted my wires. Which on my fault looked like it was far away enough.

I am using the same bracket 4speed posted. Been on 5+ years and I have never had a license plate light this whole time. Never even been stopped for it.

Not going to lie I'm liking that quick disconnect. Also with the cheaper $32 mount the motorcycle bulbs would be a lot more work if the bulbs go out. How's the bulb on that rock hard mount? Is it a fixed into the housing or can it be popped out to be replaced?

I have the plate mount, but no light. Never had a plate light in over 6 years.

Ok. After a couple months of use, the mount I posted from Amazon and used, is totally trashed. The "lugs" that are used to secure it are not the right size and stripped, then the mounting screws that go into the "lugs" are also no good.
Can't recommend. Back to the drawing board for me.

For people looking into this. I'd stay away from thus option posted here. Not sure what bolt pattern was used but didn't work for me. (Good thing I got a jeep too)

Switched to this one after putting my Thorparts bumper on. Works pretty good. Added motorcycle license plate lights which take the place of the top plate bolts.

Instead buy this one. Went with this after and it works great.
