I was just drawing and measuring for this last night except made of angle iron for the legs and frame then a mesh top. My plan is to bolt it into the anchor points on the floor

I'm using 1 inch pvc the a wood top. All plasti-dipped. I was going to go the metal way but didn't want to add too much more weight. My first iteration was all wood and I hated it.

The whole thing built will only weigh about 7.5 pounds. Weights important when I go over landing loaded pulling my small trailer.

That's awesome. I want one so I can put a sub box in the bottom and still have cargo room lol.

Put in daystar dash mount, blue dome lights, Bluetooth transmitter that actually gives good quality in comparison to my old transmitter, also installed new leather boot around my shifter.

I had to upgrade the chains. I initially bought 24lb chain but had to buy 50lb chain. Now the back plastic will break before the chain comes loose! [emoji482]

Great idea! I would also suggest that you put some washers on all of those mounting points to spread the load and prevent the screws from pulling through the plastic. For the hinch screws into the cover, once there is wood on there you could just use longer screws and screw straight into the wood, as for the other points you could pick up some aluminum bar stock and washers.
