18 codes! That really points to a voltage issue. Make sure all of the ground straps did not get tossed aside during the swap. To check, you can make a bunch of temporary jumper wires and connect them to the negative post of the battery.

So I cleared the codes out... this is what came back. I don't remember them verbatim however, misfire bank 1, lean bank 1, absolute/ atmospheric pressure, and idle position sensor, and an o2 sensor on the upstream( or manifold side). So I haven't had the time to get into it but it's got a vacuum leak. I think the other codes were because of a voltage issue that I had before replacing the motor. I don't think I ever cleared this out. But anyway that's what I'm dealing with. Could be simple or a bitch. Guess I'll find out when I get into it:

Yes, I agree that to start by fogging/smoking it would be of great help. It could also be a pinched o2 wire or sensor damaged.

I haven't seen any damage the pinched wires but that's not to say that underneath the wiring harness cover there isn't some corrosion or damage under there

So just to update everybody. I found a vacuum leakunderneath the nice black decorative cover on top of the intake. And some broken and corroded wires. I've had it running awesome now for four days. On occasion, I get traction stability system failed on the warning display. If I turn the truck off and turn it back on it goes away
