Just a question

With the arrival of the new Colorado/ Canyon coming around, When the new diesel motor does end up coming out, would the possibility of putting that motor into the H3 exist?
Would it be worth it to even look into?
Just some thoughts.

Definitely worth looking into. I haven't followed the Colorado evolution and don't know dimensions/orientation of the diesel in question, whether it would mate to the same tranny, etc but I am sure some of the guys on here will look into it.

I don't think the diesel is new, but something else to consider. They put diesels in the Colorados overseas (such as in Malaysia), that motor, a 4wholebunchofletters2T Isuzu should actually be transplantable with GM parts. Problem is: overseas, they don't swap cars every 5 years, so getting those parts before they're used up is problematic. However, if you look on Ebay, there's a guy selling an Isuzu diesel from a Colorado pickup - he's in Texas, so getting it is possible. Of course, I don't have a spare 11k sitting around for such a project...

Thanks for the input all!! I was just wondering because it seems like the diesel would make it a lot easier to make it up the steeper canyon roads here like parleys. I haven't had an issue with the I5 other than the lack of power to keep moving at speed. I don't tow anything...yet. So I thought I would run my question by you all.

All for that just get one, if the canyon come with a nice off road package it going to be hard holding on to the T.
