Jeep Wave

Anybody else ever get the wave from Jeep drivers? I’d say I get it at least once a week.

Lots of Jeepers in my neck of the woods. Half of them wave because it's not the typical soccer mom/tough guy dad mall crawler covered in bling. The other half usually forget the other four fingers when they wave but that's usually because they are 20 somethings and their brains aren't fully formed. They haven't yet realized that you don't actually have to be in a loud, slow, and uncomfortable rusting bucket of scrap and bounced all over the place to have 4lo.

There are two other guys in my small town who have H3's, a red and a black hummer (mine's gray). The guy in the black one and I seem to cross paths a lot lately and yeah, we DO wave . Kind of fun. Haven't seen the red one on the street lately. People who don't wave probably are just dazed drivers who consider it a regular vehicle and don't pay attention to what's coming down the road.

If you ride a Harley, or drive a classic car around you get 'the wave' from like owners too. Or, just wear a safety yellow shirt or jacket around during the day if you're in a pick-up and you'll get 'the wave' from just about everybody in the contracting trade ...of which there are many around here.

I get it every once in a while. I just think they aren't paying enough attention to notice it's not a Jeep.

Maybe I haven't been paying attention to them all these years...opps...but lately I've been seeing more of it. Certainly see it way more on the motorcycle when on country roads.

Yeah I sometimes get Jeep waves from guys that have properly built rigs. I think they do it because they know I don't have a mall crawler and enjoy the same hobby as they do.

Yeah I will say when I have mud on the hummer it happens a bit more. Ugh I need to drop out and get it dirty again. At least once I get a new hose on my pressure washer hahah.

I get it fairly often. My H3 is all blacked out though so it’s easier for someone that doesn’t know what they’re looking at to get confused.
