Installed my new head unit and back up camera

I wanted my camera on a switch so I could view it without the truck being in reverse. I think it will be useful on the trail to watch out for the guy behind me. I mounted the switch for it in the shell of the left cigarette lighter. I bought it at radio shack and it fit perfect.

Looks good!

I bought one of those cameras 2 years ago and haven't installed it yet... might be time to cross it off the list!

That is cool. The camera is mounted in an easy location for it to get smashed or knocked off on the trail. I have scraped my hitch a few times.

What head unit do you have?

Looks cool. One suggestions i would make is that the spot where the camera is located is going to get the crap scraped out of it. My bumper has a lot of scrapes right there and the camera will probably be ripped off. Otherwise nice job!.

This is awesome, I have always wanted to do that. Can you give us more details about the installation. What accessories did you need to buy, how did you connect it? Did you do it yourself or had it done? And Why did you add a physical button for the backing camera? Isn't it something that can be turned on from within the unit itself?

Thanks a million
