I5 Normal noise at idle?

Curious...
Motor has always had a "ticking" at idle (cannot really hear it with hood closed). Is this normal noise for this motor?
Kinda reminds me of an 1980 Plymouth slant 6 I had at one point of which I had to adjust the valves about every 15k miles (just not quite as loud as the slant 6). Here is a short clip of the sound...you can hear it better 3/4 of the way through.

I'm certainly not a mechanic but the sound in your video seems pretty normal to my ears...

everything sounds normal to me. they have a small lifter tap and the fuel injectors make a ticking noise too at a ldle. if you don't have a check engine light on then everything is fine.
