H3 Huge powerloss issue. Help please.

yeah. but one of them comes with the warranty that pays for the uninstall and reinstall and the new trans but I definitely hear what you are saying.

There's nothing wrong with rebuilding a trans as long as you go with a reputable shop. I'd much rather go to a local shop and have them rebuild it and be able to go back to them as much as I want until the trans is fixed

most likely . it wont be long after getting the trans fixed that I sell the vehicle anyway. that could go to someone local or another state. who knows.

well if you are going that route id just throw the cheapest trans i can find, or even a used one and just get rid of it asap. but if you were going to keep it, obviously dont do that lol

or from Street Smart Transmission they both have 3 year warranties but SST is unlimited miles and the other is 100,000 mile. Plus with SST it is transferableand they give $50 per hour for labor versus $30 per hour labor with the other.

I can relate. I just had to pay to put a new/rebuilt trans in mine. It was too cold to be crawling under it and wrestling a trans out and back in. Not a cheap project. Good luck.

Idk how I'd feel about off roading with it, but if you plan to just throw it on and drive around town then seems good

That pan won't fit. The h3 pan is specific to the hummer to clear the front driveshaft. In fact, there are transmission internals that are specific to the hummer to clear the special pan. The filter is also hummer/Colorado/canyon specific for this very reason.
