I do a 5 tire rotation every ~3,500. Might be a bit frequent, but I don't mind.

I also do a 5 Tire Rotation. I do it at 4K.

I rotate when I change the oil. By 'I' I mean the boys at Discount Tire, lifetime balance and rotation. By the time I'd get the floor jack out and remember where I put the spare tire release again they have it done already.

When I change oil. Which is usually 6k miles or so. But I also look them over for wear and use what I see to decide. Our miles are nearly all hwy.
