Help crazy noise

Just came off a trail and now when going from a complete stop to acceleration it sounds like the traction control is on. It's a metal on metal kind of grinding sound from the front end. It sounds like driver side but but its so loud it could be from anywhere. As soon as I accelerate for a while it goes away but from dead stop it is really loud

You can hear the noise in this video.... I've never heard It on road before

Rocks in the dust shield? Torn abs sensor maybe. I didn't watch the video yet.

okay definitely not rocks in the dust shield haha, just watched it. Id check the abs sensors but im probably wrong. Ps your rig looks nice! what size tire are you running with the rancho?

That is drivetrain related IMHO. Diff, transfercase or driveshafts.

What would be a good way to diagnose short of tearing it all apart?

crazy. It does kinda sound like a transfer case rattle...
If it were me though, I'd check the heat shields around the exhaust.
If it started during the run on the video - it didn't look like you were pushing it too hard but you might have shoved the exhaust around - when when those heat shields get pushed up into the engine it'll rattle.

How is your front diff carrier bushing? I wonder if the noise is the diff moving / "rattling" under load when traction control is active

Yeah it could be the diff bouncing if the lower bushing is busted!

Front drive-shaft CV? (Rancho's eat em).

My axle seal is bad on the driver side don't know if that would make a difference

Doubt it would make a noise, but I forgot you have the Rancho setup so you shouldn't have the same diff mount issue on the lower.

I guess I'll go with the cv as I have a knock in the steering wheel as well so it couldn't hurt. Good places or brands to buy?

I like the Cardone CV's, so far zero issues. They fit perfectly and I went with new vs refurbs.
