I would like to line x the grill

The line-x guy I talked to said that he can't guarantee me that it will stick to the chrome, and about 75% of people who get it done on chrome come back. This is from line-x HQ in huntsville, AL. Thats why i'm hesitant to do any of my chrome.

If you go to them, ask them about it. I'm curious to see what other line-x dealers say about it. And price comparison. The grill was quoted at 175$ if I took it off.

If you do it just make sure they do front and back so it is fully encapsulated. Then there is no place for it to start to peel. H3slate's is done this way and had been good for years now.

Mine has been line ex'd for about 4 years. Brutal salty winters and 95F summers....still like new. Use a scotch brite pad on it and a good cleaner to get finger oil off it. The coating will stick forever. $60 is a good price.

I wonder what the guys at line-x HQ are doing then? And they also quoted me 475$ for all the fenders if I took them off.
