if they didn't have the trakcs, its probably a package then

if you don't have a large family then i wouldn't try and look for one with it. im constantly strapped for cargo space (which is ironic considering how big the deuce is) and keep tellin myself im going to take that and the spare tire out of the trunk

That's part of why I ended up with the 2 I did. No rear set (which once or twice I've wished I had) and external tire mount. You can get an external tire mount for the older H2s, but they are not cheap.

Haha, I saw that thing too when it was on CL in New York. It's traveled a long way, dropped in price, and had a bunch of owners. I'm guessing that it is a basket case.

Airbag deploy... would that make it a salvage title?

I moved from a 2008 3.5L H3 to a 2007 6.0L H2 and I absolutely have no regrets. I love my H2 and I cannot see it being replaced by anything that is on the market today; it truly is "like nothing else".

Watch out for leaks around the a-pillars inside (to left and right of windshield) - the leak could come from many sources and I have been tracking mine (very, very lazily) for the last two years. Try to avoid the adventure series with the rear air bags - they are known to fail and you are better off replacing with coil springs anyway. Otherwise, AFIK there is no difference between the luxury and adventure.

I personally looked for a 1st generation (1.5 generation?) because I liked the original interior with the "boobie vents" - the 2nd generation looks like every other 08-ish GM truck... the original generation looks like a Hummer.

Good luck!

Whatever you end up with (after checking car fax and having a mechanic look it over), buy an extended warranty. Neither a car fax nor a mechanic can tell you what's going to break 6 months in the future. I don't know of any outstanding issues on mine other than some lighted buttons that don't light up (I need to check if that's covered), but I feel better knowing I have 2 years left on my warranty. I made getting a good warranty for a good price a requirement for buying my 2. I was ready to walk and go to a different dealership that had a much better and cheaper warranty until the finance guy "found" another option.

Just thought id post a little update about that yellow h2. Today i went over to jacked and talked to the worker/salesman at the dealership and eventually we got on the subject of a trade. He said he would be willing to trade my h3 for that h2 i hv been warned previously by a few of you to stay away from that h2 which i will probably end up doing but thought id post a little update on the situation[emoji106]

I checked over a few others and decided to stick with my alpha for now. I'm not far away from no longer having payments and that'll be a nice change. $$ has gotten diverted into the trailer build
