What do you consider "ultra low mileage"? Under 50k? As you know, it's all relative and subjective.

There was a very nice condition one in Indianapolis, a silver one but haven't seen it posted up for sale in awhile. The interior looked brand new. 2009 I think.

that's the one I'm talking about, haven't seen it pop up on my craigslist alerts in a while, but it always seems like it was listed, would expire, and then they'd relist again.

I don't mind traveling anywhere. I expect a normal premium for finding a low mileage H3T but reasonable. Nothing like the H2 thats for sale with 3k miles and $100k sticker lol.

Better off waiting until spring/summer when more are usually available. Ultra low mileage Alpha T, I would expect mid thirties. As much as I like the T, for that kind of money I would just wait for the zr2 Colly.

The ZR2 is a finished product right off the show room floor. I would not want to buy one then rip into it. It is not unique enough to me. The H3T Alpha is a clear way to build a very high performance machine. A 5.3l can be taken out and a crate motor 6.2l can be put in with very little engineering. The engineering thanks to many a Hummer owners on here is figured out on how to build a solid axle suspension swap. The ZR2 is a big question mark. Kind of like buying a Toyota TRD Pro then doing the Total Chaos suspension; you throw out most of what you paid a premium for in the TRD Pro package... (learned the hard way).

I'd cheerfully trade the crate 6.2 for the diesel in the Colorado, the 3 wasn't exactly designed with speed as a primary factor and I would much rather have the torque than the hp. I have other cars that go fast and are much better at it.
A couple years for the aftermarket to catch up and people will cutting all the suspension off a zr2 as well. Tinkering and modding is what people who buy vehicles like that do. I could have left the alpha/adv T alone, it does great right out of the box with lockers and a low tcase but then where is the fun in that?
