Hey old friends,

Went through the last few boxes feom the move today and found this. I'd like to do a DFW face to face sale but can do the whole paypal shipping thing if someone wants to pay actual shipping charges. I wont mark it up. New snorkel out of original box but complete with instructions and hardware. Wanting $250. Let me know if your interested. Many of you old guys probably remember me but I used to be pretty involved in all things Hummer. I wantes to let you guys have a shot at it before i throw it on CL. No I sold it about a year ago. I still follow the forums some just nowhere near how I used to. Not sure what was meant by the Elton John comment. Good to see you are still around. 3 hummer and Bros still around? I wheeled with Matt, Steve, and Candy back in the day.

I have it priced at a point that it's a great deal even with whatever actual shipping ends up being. As it is not currently in a box for me to get dimensions and weight I can't tell you how much it will be to ship. I can't imagine it even costing 300 with a box and ups ground shipping anywhere in the lower 48. when someone buys it I will get it shipped to them and provide them with a receipt of what the actual cost of shipping is so they can send me the balance. I know my post count on this particular forum does not grant me much credibility but I know that any of the Administration of this forum can vouch to my long standing support to all Hummer enthusiasts.

I'll leave it on the Hummer forums until the end of the month before I put it on Craigslist. I'd really rather it go to someone involved in the Hummer community before anyone else. Even though I know I could get more for it on CL or Ebay.

Yes it is a good deal...specially since we only have 2 choices when it comes to the snorkel for the H3 the autralian sherpa & ARB's. And appreciate you waiting till the end of the month, unless someone in the forum scoops it up before then.

Likewise sir. And yes I plan on making it 99% water proof, going to use silicon and might just leave one or two of the little bottom hole in the air box either open. Or make some silicon plugs so that it can easily be unplug in case water gets to the air box for some reason or maybe just plain little pieces of 100 mile tape for such little holes. Anyways I'll make sure I post pictures, I'm debating on whether I'm going to just slap on as it is or if I should camo it so it doesn't stick out too much, kind like what recon has on his 3 matching color snorkel.

Well here it is all Camo up and installed. I really like how it looks, been wanting one for a while, but always for one reason or another I kept postponing it, I guess the saying is true..."good things come to those that are patience" anyways I mainly wanted for looks since we don't have that many river or creeks in SoCal to cross, at least not that I know, anyways now I'm ready if I come across one, as well the scoop I think will provide more air to the truck as well cooler since it is not longer coming from under the fender best to the hot a$$ engine. Anyways once again thank you sir.
