First off let me state I am in no way getting rid of my H3. Probably never will!

That being said I went and got the money today to go and place my deposit on my new car. The process will start on this coming Monday (Labor Day). The burning question is what is the vehicle? Well it's something that's not even on the market yet. Not even sure if I will receive mine before the end of this year, as it has to be built and then shipped to me. My local dealer had one on the showroom floor yesterday before the dealership owner took it home and kept it. I have been following this car for months upon months now, and finally got to see it in person, and sit in it and it just sealed the deal for me! If it handles better than my buddies WRX like they say it will well then I don't care that I didn't test drive it.

Now to the car..... Introducing my new Daily Driver, since the H3 will be purely an offroader now...

What do you guys think? Yes I'm getting it in the Pearl White, and yes I have already started making an aftermarket upgrade list for this car haha!:sigh:

That's the best upgrade you can get for your hummer!!!! :) Save the wear and tear for the trails! It makes repairs a whole lot less stressful too.

yeah I'm excited to get it but it's anywhere from 60-90 days, maybe more before I get it starting Monday. So in the meantime imma have to get another beater DD to drive since the hummer gets shipped to Kansas at the end of Sept. it's gonna be weird not having my truck for a few months, but at least waiting for both cars I have something to distract me from the idea of Ms Stacey (my H3) getting torn apart! Haha

Nice looking ride! First thing that's got to go is those wheels. Go up at least 2" and black them out. HRE will make them with custom offsets and colors. You'll also need a Brembo GT rotor and caliber kit. Race Technologies in Costa Mesa, CA is the US distributor for Brembo.

Btw Dan.. they are saving turbos for the STI version. If they come out with it. But they did leave enough room in them to have turbos and superchargers bolted in. Either way if they come out with an STI version I'm already on the waiting list and I think I'm like #3 or #4 from the production line to get one, and I'll trade this one in. Just think get comfy with the regular one with some mods, only to upgrade to a faster one and mod it! Oh how I hope that happens!

BRZ was a smart name for it...'cuz when you put a fart can on it and hit the skinny pedal all you'll hear is "brrrrrzzzzzzzzzzz"!! :giggle:

Congrats on the new commuter, btw. I hope you take the Storm Trooper route with it. :corn:

Al I'm right on that with ya! BBS or Sparco rims at least 18" an I'm gonna get some that aren't blacked out haven't decided yet! The H3 is getting murdered out so I have enough black on it for a few cars! Brembo Brakes are coming with the aftermarket STI kit I'm buying. And I'm going to switch the Exhaust from the engine all the way back, prolly a Perrin Exhaust.

Then there's custom bracing struts going in, a whole new coil over shock system by RCE that I'm installing, lower arm kits.. Gah I could go on and on.. It's gonna be a dump of like idk how much money but I'll be damned if it won't be freakishly fast and handle better when I'm done!

Lastly idk whether to turbo or supercharge it. A couple of my Subie friends here and I have been talking about it, we are gonna together make a decision once we have a solid chance to drive it!

^^^ agreed and you'll make more power. Only thing is..... can you tune the PCM's out of the box? If Subie has a lock on them you're ****ed for anything performance other than bolt on's until it is unlocked.

Nice looking scooby
I was a bit put-off when I first heard the car's power and performance figures but no doubt the aftermarket industry will more than fill the gap.
