Front Air Lockers and Rear E-Lockers?

Is it possible to combine front ARB air lockers for the front with existing e-lockers on the rear? I have never seen this done.

Understanding the difference in how they operate, would there be any problems combining the two? Eventual plan would be to upgrade the rear to ARB also...

I don't see any real issue with that aside from if you have both lockers engaged and need to reverse then the rear will unlock for a but while the front will stay locked. That may or may not be an issue depending on your situation.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. It would probably also work best to engage the e-locker first...

Yeah, my understanding is generally you engage rear locker first. Then front locker. There may be situations where you only engage the front locker, but I can't really think of when you would want to do that, especially in a IFS rig.

Good to know, thanks! Seems like almost everyone tends to go with the same on front & rear, so its good to hear confirmation from somebody using the combination.

Ran the exact combo for several years. We now have ARB's front and rear. Really like being able to lock in the front the without having the rear locked first. Comes in handy sometimes like in deep off camber snow. Lock in the front and pull it up high without both rears spinning and trying to pull you down.
