Florida Wheelin February 11-12th 2012

Sinstr and I will be doing some wheeling on February 11-12, 2012. Open to options, but thinking about heading to the Citrus Wildlife Management Area in Citrus/Herando County for an easy exploring trail day. There are a few limestone caves to explore and most of the trails are easy with some washouts and mud to play in.

I'll know for sure next week but I should be in. This is our track from last year in yellow, Jeff send me your email if you want & I can send you the gps file.

The area in the square was fun but I think it might have been closed, we came in from the north but I saw closed signs when we got to the south end.
The circled areas along the old R/R track were a nice ride as well.

Anyone want to Prerun this tomorrow or Thursday lol. I'm off both days and looking for something to do but don't know if I want to risk going alone.

Any Florida wheelin' the second week of March? I'll be down at my place in Marco Island with my wife and the in-laws. I might be able to sneak away for a little FL wheelin'....

Sorry, I have been busy. I found out last week that I have a cub scouts pine wood derby race on Saturday January 11th, so the only day for me is sunday the 12th unless we push until the following weekend. I think James already scheduled time off and Drew may have already done the same. We can slide to the following weekend if that works better. Dylan has a surgery for his right leg at the end of February, so I want to squeeze this in and take him offroad before he is out of comission for a few weeks.

I'm still good for Sunday. Heck, with the hours I'm getting I could probably go next week too lol. I love working at a theme park! Anybody need any marketing work done? I'm cheap haha.

FML. I'm out. Skynard is doing a show at Busch and they didn't approve my request because we're gonna be packed to the brim with drunk people. I need a real job.

It looks like this trip is falling apart. My wife just got hit with strep throat hard today and has been running fever and laid up on the couch all day. I don;t think my weekend will be much better, hoping I dont get sick, but three kids and a sick wife = I probably don't have a chance. Lets reschedule this for a few more weeks out.

If anyone still wants to go out I'm off sat & sun. Hal has a group doing Hardrock sun so I'm going to join him for that.

Well I should've stayed home like everyone else, I took out a half shaft & 1 of the H2's took over for Jeff breaking tie rods, 2 in 20 minutes :gaah:

That sucks James. Did you have a spare or just remove the busted one and limp home in three wheel drive? Which H2 was it, I think the Orange one that runs with Hal has Fabtech tie-rods.
