Exhaust Question

Hey guys I saw this on YouTube https://www.jegs.com/i/Race-Ready/815/RRP-2-250S/10002/-1 do you think this would work and be a cool idea and what size is the h3 exhaust ? 2.5 or 3 ? And where should I put it because I know if I do this I’d have to have a y-pip to make this work

Dont buy it!
They have too many issues, not this specific one, electric cutouts in general. Motors break and seize mainly due to heat, butterfly valve doesnt seal fully, alot of headache for one item.
I used QTP, supposed to be the best, a year later I scrapped it (replaced motor 3 times, butterfly valve once).
If you want to try something else, try vaccum cutouts with a vaccum pump. The oems use a similar setup (not electric) such as the npp mufflers on the camaros/vettes. They are tied to the brake booster and open automatically under heavy load. A vaccum pump allows you to control it using an independent circuit.
Apart from that, when it does work, its the best mod I did to my exhaust system period! Loud when I want, quiet when I dont.

You can also get a mechanical cutout for pretty cheap compared to the electric, they use cables to actuate them. Personally I would not run a vacuum line to underneath an offroading vehicle.
