Hey guys I'm thinking about doing a compressed air tank on board to inflate tires after an evening of of roadin. Also looking to piece it together maybe come out cheaper than the "powertank" option. But my question is what kind of tank would be best ( 33' tires) and also where would u put one if u had one, I was thinking in the front bumper but wanna do a Hidden win h mount a little later and don't wanna take up the space! All comments greatly appricated!

A compressed air tank would have to be large or have an onboard aircompressor to keep it full. Reloader set up is the way to go if you don't want a larger air compressor. It is a bottle with co2. So it will have 800 to 1200 psi in it when full and have a pressure regulator so you only have 80 to 120psi in the hose. The advantage here is the tank is a lot smaller and will fill the tires multiple times and can even run an impact.

If your really doing a power tank knock off you are limited on tanks. You can go with three different size tanks. 5lb, 10lb, or 20lb. These weights are based on liquid gas storage size. I don't remember the actual cubic foot size. The most common being 10lb, which is the most common size of a nitrous bottle. All of these will be rated at 1800 psi. Then the next option is material. Do you want steel or aluminum? You can get a co2 tank at harbor freight, or any gas welding shop business.
