H3 Diagnosis help

So here is how my H3 currently sits. I have my tbars cranked and I have the trail duty bumps, aftermarket 18" wheels with 34 inch bfg at tires. I have the stock shocks still. I have been encountering severe issues with my steering rack/steering wheel when going over bumps. Excessive shaking in rack and noise. My truck doesn't track right when going over bumps too. I'm thinking it might be cause I don't have the extended shocks yet. Over bumps my rack just doesn't seem right. If over clean paved roads I have no problems. There is noise from my rack when going over bumps. Also, at a stop/idle my steering wheel shakes excessively. That has been going on for longer than I have had the bigger tires though. My service advisor says its cause the rack is too close to motor on the 3's. But I have driven others and do not see a replication. Should I get extended shocks and see if the problem is solved or do you feel I have a rack problem? Thanks

1. Worn steerig rack bushing. Fixed by the following:
Steering reinforcement kit (rack sleeve + bushings)
Changing to a new rack if the above doesnt fix it. The old rack might be too damaged
2. Worn control arm bushings. This results in excessive movement in the steering on un even bumps.
3. If there is also a knock when hitting bumps, the tie rod ends could be worn.

As for the vibration at idle,

1. Motor mount
2. Service throttle body/maf sensor
3. Airbox assembly is not tight
4. Rigid air intake pipe from airbox to engine allowing much more transmittal of small vibrations and amplifying them.

Did you get a wheel alignment after cranking the T-bars?

what can you recommend for control arm bushings?

You don't have options for the Upper control arm, they come as one piece.
The lower ones can be replaced, I have OEMs, they last 50K even with the extreme heat in this region and my weekly abuse.
You don't need to replace all 4 shocks though

i have the same type of concern, all my front suspension components are tight(tie rods, etc). I'm thinking my noise is coming from the intermediate shaft(TSB) and looseness from the steering rack bushings since its a common problem with our trucks.

Holy ****. Just got a bunch of stuff related to this fixed, plus many other problems. Mind you, my truck only has 76k miles. Here we go.............
Intermediate Steering Shaft
Lower Steering Shaft (Bulletin)
New Cylinder Head (3 & 5 misfiring)
Inop Rear Wiper
Lower Control Arms Ball Joints
New Exhaust Manifold (Cracked)
Front Axle Seal
Exhaust Belt Tensioner
Front Pinion Seal
Axle Mount Bushing

OMG

Had to drive a rental for two weeks. A 2015 Ford Focus HB. UGH!. Very Happy to have my truck back.
