Demise of Elcova Forums?

I don't want to see any of our HUMMER forums fade away, but was just over on Elcova and saw one new post in the last months on the H3 side.
I've been able to use each of the forums for various reasons and Elcova was always the best for selling chrome parts, so to see it fading away is a shame for me. Don't get me wrong, there was always good info posted for H2 problems that didn't show up here.
I'm glad this forum (H4O) is still active, slowing down I think, but still active.
I don't have a fear for HUMMER forums going away completely; just like most vehicles, our HUMMER's will be going retro in a few years and a whole new crowd will establish themselves trying to work out problems on high mileage trucks.

I haven't been over there in a long time but I think it has been the least active of the Hummer forums for years.

I wonder if we could get some analytics for the site, see how many new members a month we get and how many are active after signing up. We also are ranked 2nd on search on google for "hummer forums" idk how many active members are on that site, but with that name it would be kinda hard to beat as far as search rank in SEO.

Tons of lurkers who never join. We may have 12 members online and 2000 visitors. Many members join and stay lurkers, they get what they need. HF is the same way.

Funny thing is when I looked at HUMMER Forums a couple of weeks ago, it had some decent activity going on, more than I'd seen in the past several years. That one has the best odds of staying active as it has, well, the easiest name when looking for HUMMER stuff.
Elcova was probably the hardest to know about as it's not a name that I'd relate to HUMMER's at all. When I learned about Elcova all I'd ever heard was how brutal the members were to each other and what a difficult forum it was to be on. Then I found out most of the loud mouth troublemakers had moved on to Honda Civics or the like......

As for that other site with all the outcasts, funny, I forgot it's name within weeks of joining this forum!

Makes sense as to why other forums have post amount requirements and limits to how many pages you can view before needing to sign up as a member

Now I'm full on slut with SAS and SOA not drivable yet...but getting there guess u can say i've moved onto deep throat, and having problems with gag reflex...yes I'm a infantry vet...yes most of my humor is gay referent event tho I'm straighter than a straight line.

t's hard to believe that was 12 years ago. a few of us were on the ebola forums back then it was about the only thing around if you didn't have an h1 because they all hung on the HML and were just about as brutal to the 2's and 3's. do you remember when h2's were called bummers and 3's called slummers? i do... we took a lot of $hit back then enough that the Blacksheep were born out of it. just a little history for the newbs...

Wow, it's guys like Panzer that'll claim they're straighter than a twisty straw but if you ask their boyfriends you'll get the real story on what freaks they are......

Well u know what they say "spaghetti it is straight until it gets hot and wet"...and I do think I am a lesbian...because I like woman so much hahaha...then again I'm still young why limit my options, after all my drill Sgt used to say how can you really know u aren't gay if you never tried it...and he is right, up until I was 8 I thought girls were gross, wasnt till I was 13 when I tried them and well I liked them ever since.

I still surf the other forums from for random info or the for sale pages. But H4O is by far the best. If you're looking for quad 50" light bars, 20" rims, and 4000 watt stereos, this ain't the place.
